When to choose IELTS
Choose IELTS when you have a formal requirement that specifically names it: a university application, a visa application, a professional registration such as nursing or teaching, or a specific employer who requires an accredited test result.
Do not choose IELTS just because it seems more impressive. For most job applications, an online CEFR certificate is sufficient and far cheaper.
