HR teams use Examinizer to check language skills before the interview, not after. You send a candidate a link. They take a 25-question test. You get a score and CEFR level back in under 30 minutes. They do not need an account.
The certificate has a unique verification code. Check it yourself at examinizer.net/verify/ rather than trusting a PDF someone emailed you.
What companies use it for
The most common use case is pre-interview screening. Instead of asking candidates to self-report their language level, you send a test link with the application. Candidates who do not meet the minimum CEFR level do not proceed to the interview stage. This works particularly well for customer-facing roles, international sales positions, and multilingual support teams.
A second common use is onboarding. When a new hire joins from another country, a quick test establishes their actual English or local language level, which informs how much support they need during their first weeks.
Some HR teams also use it for internal promotions. If a role requires B2 English and the current holder of the role is being considered for a transfer, the test gives you an objective data point alongside the performance review.
What you can test
Languages: English (general and business), German, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese.
Professional skills: Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, Google Ads, computer skills, sales, and customer service.
How it works
Share the test URL. The candidate completes 25 questions in about 25 minutes, gets results instantly, and receives a certificate with a QR code. Taking the test is free. An official PDF certificate costs $8 (incl. EU VAT).
There is no setup on your end. No admin panel, no per-seat fee, no contract. You copy a link from the tests page and send it.
